Our Mission
SPRINGFIELD RACEWAY MINISTRIES
Mission:
My mission is to serve God through the racing community. This involves my roles as a chaplain and driver. This not only includes serving at large track venues like NASCAR events, but also serving on a regular basis with weekly, local short track events. I am currently serving in the Show-me Racin Series. A new ministry opportunity may be forthcoming. It will be called Crossroads Racing - more information to come.
The Kansas Speedway event was a great success this season with many positive influences and contacts made with track personnel. We hope to go back again next year with even greater plans to minister to the sercurity personnel.
We finished with the season and have made some great relationships and were able to give all of the drivers/crew members their own Dirt Racer Bible thanks to the support of Second Baptist Church.
The NFRM (website) National Meeting was in Nashville, TN in January 2010. I will be serving on the Board of Directors for NFRM for the next 3 years.
